1/ Sidestep users enter their itinerary into the Sidestep search form, and click on "Search".

3/ When the customer is ready to reserve, they click-thru to your agency's reservation pages. The customer can browse through your vehicles, policies, coupons, and any other information you input into the CRX Administrative Workstation.

CRX makes special efforts to ensure that Sidestep click-thrus convert into reservations. If a customer tries to leave your reservation pages without booking a rental, they are given the option to save their rate quote. Your agency's rates are then emailed to the customer with a link back to your reservation pages, giving them the option to return to complete their reservation within 24 hours.
Furthermore, before completing their reservation, customers are given the option of upgrading to a higher vehicle class. |
Who uses Sidestep?
|
Anyone can download Sidestep's free search tool from Sidestep's website (http://www.sidestep.com). When a Sidestep user searches Orbitz, Expedia or Travelocity, Sidestep's search panel opens next to the website, and performs a side-by-side rate comparison. Your agency rates appear to users who are searching major travel network websites! This is especially important to GDS connected agencies that have recently been excluded from Travelocity.

How do I track the business I receive from Sidestep?

| Reservations are delivered to your agency in the same format as your own website. If you opt into our Sidestep program, the number of reservations from Sidestep appears on your Statistics page of the CRX Administrative Workstation. Your reservation notification email also indicates that the reservation has originated from Sidestep. |
How much will this cost me?

| Setup Charges |
| The startup fee is $299 US. CRX ensures that your rates, mileage, logo, and vehicle images are found on Sidestep. Participation is limitted to 4 CRX agencies per city! We will add agencies to this limit on a first come, first serve basis. |
| Ongoing Charges |
Each time a customer selects your agency from Sidestep's search results, and clicks through to your reservation pages (see Figure 3), you are charged $1.15. This click comes from a highly qualified customer: they already know your rates and they have chosen your agency after comparing your rates to your competitors. On average, the conversion ratio of click thrus to reservations has historically been greater than 10%. This means you pay, on average, $6 - $12 per reservation. There are no commission charges, and no other monthly fees payable to either Sidestep or CRX.

| Credit Card Payment |
| Sidestep invoices CRX directly, on a monthly basis, for agencies' accumulated click thru charges. CRX then processes your agency's click thru charges on a credit card provided by you at the time of set-up. Your Sidestep charges then appear as "Paid" on your regular monthly CRX invoice. |
| Cancellation |
| CRX requires at least 90 clear days cancellation notice from the beginning of the month. |
